Barbara Ann "Belk" Dorman, 71 of Washington DC departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. She was born July 14, 1951, to the late Ralph Belk and Mary Louise Clinton in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Barbara, during her early years, moved to Washington. She worked as a Social Worker for several Community Centers in Washington. Barbara was an active member of Freedom Way Missionary Baptist Church. She sang on the choir and was very active with the Children's Church Ministry.

Barbara leaves to cherish fond memories with her daughter and son: Floria Belk-King and Ranard Green both of Washington; a brother, Ralph (Mary) Belk of Capital Heights; a sister, Shirley (Gregory) Porter of Washington; and 3 grandchildren: Anjai and Cori King, and Rachelle Williams all of Washington DC, and a host of other relatives and friends.
