IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Denise Anne
(Cochrane) Ayers
April 14, 1958 – January 9, 2024
Denise Anne Ayers was born on April 14, 1958, to William and Dorene Cochrane in Tucson, Arizona. She departed life on January 9, 2024.
She was educated at Rincon High School and Abbie Loveland Tuller School in Tucson, Arizona.
Denise, or Nisee, as she was affectionally known, loved children, and dedicated most of her life working as a nanny or a tutor. She established wonderful friendships with the families she worked with.
Nisee loved spending time with family, especially Keith and Remi. She enjoyed watching football, wrestling and westerns. She loved to color and make beautiful notes and cards to send to friends and family. She always signed her notes Sparkles 'n Shine, and that was what Nisee brought others. She added a little bit of sunshine and happiness to all of our days.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Cochrane; her son, Michael Bixby; her brother, Robert Cochrane, and her mother-in-law, Barbara E. Ayers.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving husband, Keith T. Ayers of Easton; her mother, Dorene Cochrane of Arizona; her grandson Remington Bixby of Easton, MD; her daughter-in-law, Jessica Bixby of Easton, MD; her sister, Lisa Colorado (John) of California; two sisters-in-law: Nicole Walker of Easton, MD and Cassandra Guy (Robert) of Cordova, MD; and one brother-in law, Shelton Jones of Easton, MD. She also leaves one uncle, Robert Ayers, of Easton, MD and two aunts: Doris Butler, of Salisbury, MD and Brenda Brittingham of Easton, MD, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Talbot County Humane Society. Donations can also be sent to Shore United Bank, c/o Jenna Nawaz, 18 E. Dover St. Easton, MD 21601 for her grandson, Remington Bixby.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Saints Peter and Paul Family Life Center on January 27 from 10 – 12 PM where friends can gather and share memories of Nisee.
