IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Donte' Demerle

("Snake") Camper

October 15, 1973 – December 22, 2022

Obituary

Donte Camper, affectionately known as "Snake" departed this life on December 22, 2022. He was the son of Frederick Douglas Camper Jr and Carolyn Denise Campbell born on October 15, 1973, in Cambridge, Maryland,

Snake spent his early childhood into his teens in Douglas, Georgia where he attended Grade and Middle school before moving back to Cambridge in the late 80's. Donte attended Middle and High School in Cambridge. He loved playing basketball in his high school years and that is where he earned the nickname "Snake" because it was said that he moved around the court like a snake. His later years were spent in Baltimore City where he worked in Graphic Design on and off for many years. He was also a well-known tattoo artist. Outside of basketball and graphic design, Snake was known as one of the "slickest" and best dressed "dudes" in South Baltimore. He loved to look good and was always dressed. He obviously got this from his Daddy!

The best quality about Donte was his good heart. He would do anything for anybody and would give you the shirt off his back. Snake ALWAYS took responsibility for his actions. Most importantly, he had a passion for family. He loved his family. While he was raised in Georgia, Cambridge was his home because that is where he found his FAMILY.

The family will forever mourn and love Donte "Snake" Camper.

Donte was preceded in death by maternal grandparents: Austin Campbell and Mary Durham; paternal grandparents: Frederick D Camper, Sr and Lena Camper; 2 sisters and a brother: Tysheka, Tykia, Tadrian Ennals; best friend, Don Copper, as well as his parents, Carolyn and Freddie Jr.
