Edward Franklin Schneider Jr., 77, born April 23, 1946, passed away on Saturday October 14, 2023, with his family by his side. Ed was known by many names: Buzzy, Eddie, Poppy, Dad, Buzz Light Year, Captain Hook, One Arm Bandit, Special Ed, the Handicapped Man, and many more. He was born in Baltimore to the late Edward, Sr. and Delores Dougherty Schneider.

Buzzy loved boating, fishing, going to the beach, late night drives, and long walks on the boardwalk. Cars were a huge part of his life. Buzzy loved all aspects of the car industry from racing, to repairing, to collecting, and admiring them. Dad was a collector of many things including knives, cartoon collectables, cars, and sports memorabilia, just to name a few. He graduated from Overlea High School. Ed served in the US Coast Guard for a short period of time and worked many years as a mechanic at Difatta Brothers. Ed's biggest mark he left on this earth was his love for his family.

Ed was preceded in death and will be reunited with his brother George Rawlings.

Ed leaves to cherish fond memories with his wife, Barbara J. (Hopwood) Schneider; 2 children: Kathy Schneider Roberts, (Johnny Roberts) and Maria Schneider Hopkins (Josh Hopkins): 6 grandchildren: Christopher and Alexis (Toyota) Schneider, Crystal Schneider, Nicholas, Destiny and Jacob Hopkins; one brother, Mark Schneider (Susan Schneider); several nieces and nephews: Janene, Virginia, Ashley, Abby, Emily, Blake, and David; and a loving nephew to Adolph Henry Schneider.

What Edward would want to leave us with is, "Spend time with people who mean the most." Each holiday and birthday had value. Any opportunity he had to be united with family, he was there willing to give his last. We take what he taught us and exercise it into the world on his behalf.
