Iretha Amelia Rasin Armstrong also known as "Ree" Or "MaRee", 65, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. She was the oldest of five born August 24,1958, to Cora Tilghman and Hermione Rasin.
She attended school in Talbot County, Maryland. She worked various jobs and her last one being at Chesapeake Center in Easton. Later in life she married her soulmate Marion (Mercy) Armstrong. It was no secret their favorite color was "black and red." Together, they had two children Dewayne Armstrong and Satonia Armstrong.
Iretha loved being a part of Samuel T. Hemsley Elks Lodge Post 974 where she was a member and often modeled. She stayed sharp! She also enjoyed taking care of children and being around the family.
She leaves to cherish her memories a sister, Missy Rasin; 2 brothers: Hermione Rasin and James Rasin (Denise); 3 brothers in law: Larry Armstrong (Joanne), Thomas Armstrong (Naomi), Horce Armstrong; one daughter, Satonia Armstrong (David); a special cousin/daughter, Jessica Demby; her Cousin/ Sisters: Doretha Bordley, Georgetta Camacho, Kaneka Scott, Tasha Holmes; 8 grandchildren: Shabre Armstrong (Dre), Robert Coverdale, Davon Armstrong (Samantha) Keisha Armstrong, Satara Armstrong, Tyrieck Armstrong, Tyshawn Armstrong, and Tankia Wilson; a goddaughter, Angel Rasin; 8 nieces and nephews, 7 great grandchildren, one great-great nephew, 13 adopted children, 5 aunts, one uncle; special friends: Denise Potter, Barbra Bailey, Linda Gibson Smith, Mondrea Hasty, Shelly Brown and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her husband, Marion Armstrong, her son, DeWayne Armstrong, a sister, Hermean Rasin; granddaughter, Danjia Armstrong and a brother, Clinton Armstrong.
