Ivette Espada, 66 of Salisbury, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Bay Harbor in Salisbury. She was originally from Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. She was born on January 29, 1959, to the late Gladys Celina Velazquez and Rigoberto Espada.

Ivette came from humble beginnings and was a devoted housewife her entire life. She took care of her home and children. Ivette was a devout Christian. She spent most of her days in church praising the Lord. She was also devoted to her church in Puerto Rico, before moving to Salisbury with her children. This move took place after losing her husband, Rafael Lopez. He died June 10, 2018. She enjoyed going to church, a good game of "Bingo", family outings, and activities back in Puerto Rico. Ivette loved anything family oriented.

In addition to her parents, Ivette was preceded in death by her husband, Rafael Lopez of 30 years.

Ivette leaves to cherish her memories with, a daughter, Ivelisse Sepulveda of Salisbury, a son, Vicente Lopez; 3 grandchildren: Jeremy Rodriguez, Jancen and Kylie Perez all of Salisbury; a brother, Rigo Espada; 4 sisters: Judith Espada, Hilda Velazques, Ana G Vega, and Gladys A Lopez, and host of other relatives and friends.
