Jerell Maurice Savage, better known as "Rell", departed his life on Monday, January 13,2026 at his residence. He was born on January 25,1991 in Seaford, Delaware, the son of Howard James Savage Sr and the late Patricia Ann Cannon.

Rell was such a genuine person to get along with. He was charming, caring, and had a great sense of humor. Rell really enjoyed family gatherings and hanging out with close friends. He was a supportive father, brother, cousin, and dear friend. He attended Delmarva Church of Life and was Baptized in 2023. We will always hold those memories of him in our hearts forever.

Besides his father, Howard Sr., Jerell is survived by his daughter, So'Maya Je'Liyah Savage, 7 siblings: Howard Savage Jr, Jermaine Savage, Jamarr Savage, Jermell Savage, Jamesha Savage, Brandon Bailey, Janesha Savage; his paternal grandmother, mom-mom Mary Savage, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his mother, Patricia Ann Cannon, Jerell was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: George Cannon and Pauline Cannon-Payton; his great-grandfather George Cannon; great-grandmother, Marion Cannon, great-grandmother, Pearl Cannon, his paternal grandfather, Herbert Savage; his great-grandmother, Emma Louise Hitchens; grandfather, Carlos Santiago; an uncle, Carlos Cannon; great-aunt, Hattie Cannon (poop), great-aunt Marie Simms, and Lil cousin, Timothy Hall.
