John Adwell Williams, 72 of Hurlock, entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 1, 2024, in Falls Church, Virginia. He was born July 9, 1952, in Baltimore to the late Adwell and Virginia Pavlick Williams.

Although born in Baltimore, John spent most of his years on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After graduating from high school, he spent most of his life devoted to his cars, motorcycles, and his dog. John worked many years for Harley Davidson. John later met and married the "apple of his eye", Shirley Nicely. His grandchildren were very special and close to his heart. John would have given the world to his grandchildren.

John leaves to cherish his loving memory with his wife, Shirley Nicely Willams of Hurlock; one daughter, Kimberly Requa of Cambridge; 2 brothers: Keith Scott Williams of Baltimore and Mark Williams of Glen Burnie; 2 grandchildren: Dominic and Veronica Williams; one sister-in-law, Vicki Baker (Ray) of Preston; 3 nieces: Olivia Williams, Sara Williams of Baltimore, and Nicole Bowers (Pablo) of Hurlock; a nephew, Stuart Nicely of Baltimore; 4 great nieces and nephews: Pablo Jr., Jaxon, and Mechell'e Bowers all of Hurlock, and Hayden Nicely of Baltimore.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Williams; his maternal grandparents: Walter and Tillie Pavlick; 2 maternal uncles: Walt and George Pavlick; and a maternal aunt, Evelyn Ozminski.
