Attire should be your favorite sports team. Of course Ken Ken's favorite teams were the Lakers, Yankees, and Eagles!!!
Kenneth Eugene Long, II, age 46 departed this life Monday, June 15, 2026, at Tidal Health Hospital in Salisbury, Maryland. He was the son of Kenneth Long, I of Salisbury and Margo Morris of Hebron. “Ken Ken”, as he was affectionately known, was born August 8, 1979, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Kenny was a 1997 Graduate of Wicomico Senior High School in Salisbury. He continued his education attending Wor Wic Community College in Salisbury. During this tenure, he found employment with Genesis Nursing Home working in food service. Kenny attended Sunday School occasionally with his grandmother, Evangelist Savanna Morris, at the former “Calvary Temple Church” in Salisbury.
Kenny was an avid sports lover. His favorite football team was the Eagles. He inherited his love of baseball from his grandfather, Merrill Morris. However, Kenny loved the New York Yankees. Finally, he began idolizing LeBron James on the basketball court. Oh, the number of bets he made supporting his teams. Kellen Palmer also lost a lot of his money following Kenny’s bets.
Kenny was known for his "GQ" attire. Whenever he stepped out to any function, he had to make sure his hair, outfits, and vehicle were in top notch. He had a voice which would dominate most conversations.
Besides his parents, Kenny leaves to cherish wonderful memories with a brother, Marcus Long of Hebron; a sister, Priscilla Long of Salisbury; 6 uncles: Merrill Morris of Mardela Springs, Steven Morris, Sr of Hebron, Timothy Morris, Sr of Clinton, MD, Dr. Dannie Morris of Salisbury, Keith Harmon of Salisbury, and Anthony Handy of Baltimore; 3 aunts: Esther Breslau of Silver Springs, MD, Doretha Williams of Florida, Kay Handy of Baltimore, and Renetha Morris of LaPlata; one great uncle, Elder Gary (Gloria) Purnell of Berlin; 2 nephews: DeMarcus Long of Salisbury and Devante Long of Texas; a niece, Amber Johnson of Texas, and a plethora of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
