Kimberly Ann Taylor of Easton, Maryland, affectionately known as Kim, quietly departed this earthly life on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the age of 59.
Kimberly was born on April 23, 1966, to Marshall Taylor, Jr. and the late Pearl (Hutchins) Taylor. She attended Talbot County Public Schools and graduated from Easton High School in 1984. Her academic journey continued at Goldey-Beacom College in Newark, Delaware, where she studied accounting, laying the groundwork for a dedicated and successful career.
For nearly 23 years, Kim served diligently in the accounting and billing departments at Dixon Valve & Coupling Company in Chestertown, Maryland. Her meticulous work ethic and steady presence made her a deeply valued team member and a trusted colleague.
Kim was a devoted member of New Zion United Methodist Church in Cordova (Newtown), Maryland. Her deep faith was reflected in her faithful service across many areas of ministry and leadership. She remained steadfast in her commitment to both her church and her community until her illness.
She had a deep love for music and found joy in dancing. Christmas was her most cherished time of year, a season that filled her heart with happiness and celebration.
Kim shared many cherished moments with her parents—most recently with her father, Marshall, who lovingly assisted in providing her care. their bond stood as a testament to the enduring power of family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Pearl Taylor; her grandparents, Viola Green, Barney Hutchins, Sr., Marshall Taylor, Sr., Mildred (Mundy Taylor) Broadway, and Perry (Richard) Broadway; her brother-in-law, Royce Roberts, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who now welcome her home.
Kim's memory will be forever cherished by her father, Marshall Taylor, Jr.; three brothers, Freddie Taylor (Gloria), of Cordova, Maryland, Edwin Taylor (Karen), of Hurlock, Maryland, and Aurice Wilson, of Denton, Maryland; three sisters, Patricia Taylor, of Preston, Maryland, Vernette H. Roberts (James), of Decatur, Georgia and Brenadette Taylor, of Cambridge, Maryland; her godmother, Rev. Alice Hutchins; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, along with many cousins who will continue to honor her legacy of strength and devotion.
She also leaves behind two dear friends, Kaynette Handy and Daphine Morris, whom she met during her time at Goldey-Beacom College.
Kim will be remembered for the unwavering commitment and profound love she shared with those closest to her.
