IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Ann
Lee Cook
January 24, 1925 – May 6, 2022
Mary Amy Lee Cook daughter of late Mary Etta Handy and Ellison Lee was born July 24, 1925, in Baltimore, MD. God saw her road was getting rough and her hill hard to climb so he summoned his death angel to Tidal Healthcare Hospital, Seaford DE on Friday May 6, 2022, and gently took her on home.
At a very young age she attended Robinson AME church Sunday school where she later joined and became a member. She was a member of the Stewardess board. Her church and the Stewardess board was her first love. Each Saturday before Communion Sunday, you would find her at the church dressing the alter in white for Communion Sunday. She loved her church family and they loved her. She continued church until her health began to fail.
She was formerly educated in the public schools of Queen Anne's County. Her employment began working in Canneries, the Police fire Board and meals on wheels in Queen Anne's County. Amy was also known as the neighborhood mom. She was well loved by everybody.
She leaves to mourn her loss her two sons Michael (Debra) Cook of Grasonville, MD, Mark Cook of Fort Washington MD, Misty Cook of Baltimore, MD eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and close friends, Marlene Pollard, Shirley Aytch, and Authorine Robinson a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and a very special friend Reverend Helen Wright.
