Nancy Alice Baughman, 72 of Salisbury, Maryland, formerly of Independence, Missouri, died Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Clifford John Hanson and Georgia Willetta Roberts Hanson.

Nancy was raised and graduated from William Chrisman High School in Independence, MO. Nancy soon met and married the love of her life, John Franklin Baughman, Jr. She found her nitch and became a homemaker and "stay at home mom." She loved helping with the Special Olympics for children with disabilities. She worshipped and attended Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury.

Nancy loved reading books. Her favorite authors were Stephen King, Dean Koonts, Anne Rice, and Nora Roberts. Nancy loved horror movies. She loved crocheting and cooking for her family. She often spent time with her children and grandchildren.

Nancy leaves to cherish her fond memories, 3 daughters: Crystal Arvey (Bryan) and Teisha Sterling both of Salisbury, and Misty Baughman of Independence, MO; 2 sons: Travis Baughman of Salisbury and John Baughman (Gabby) of Independence; 10 grandchildren: Devin Kemp, Dylan Crow, Da'Von Perry, Cameron Baughman, Paige Polley (Ian), CJ Sterling, Jr., Ariana Baughman, Mercedes Arvey, Armani Arvey, and Peyton Sterling.
