Robert Orlando Batson was born July 2, 1996, to Keith and Kesha Batson. He departed this life Thursday, July 14, 2022, at John Hopkins Hospital.

Robbie or Rob as he was known, was a very delightful person to be around and have in your corner. Robert was born with Biliary Atresia and began his fight out the gate. Robert had his first transplant at the age of 4. He excepted Christ at an early age at St. Luke United Methodist church in Bellevue, under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Jerome Tilghman. Rev. Tilghman saw something in Robert's spirit that prompted him to begin using him in the services as a Worship Leader. Robert was so small and short, that Mr. Donnie had to make a step up to see him over the podium. Robert lived his life to the fullest and if you didn't know him, you would never suspect just what he went through. Robert loved basketball in high school. After graduation, he continued to keep score at games and even coached different teams. Robert was an avid gamer and spent many hours perfecting his moves and skills.

Robert is survived by his parents Keith and Kesha Batson; one brother, Carl B. Batson Sr. (Chevell); 3 sisters: Shanice Jenkins, Tachara Sanchez (Humberto), and Arielle Bell (Desmond); maternal grandmother, Vera Thomas (Walt), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and a community of friends. Robert loved to spend countless hours with his special cousins: Josh Baines and Amanda Eason.

Robert was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother, maternal grandfather, and paternal grandfather.
