Obituary

Ronald Charles Dupont, 76 of Salisbury, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at his daughter's and son-in-law's residence in Pocomoke. He made his home with his daughter the last three years. Ronald was born November 6, 1948, to the late George Henry and Dorothy Olivia Ritchie Dupont.

Ronald attended and graduated from the public school system in Wicomico County, graduating from Wicomico Senior High School in 1966. He soon enlisted in the United States Army National Guards serving his country with great pride. He then enrolled in Wor Wic College receiving an Associate of Applied Science. While in college, he was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Society International Scholastic Order of the 2-Year College. Ronald enjoyed a good card game. He often engaged in playing Poker. Other hobbies he engaged in were horse racing, baseball, football, westerns, cookout, and most of all, spending time with his family. Ronald was a true Marylander. He loved the Ravens football team, and the Baltimore Orioles. He enjoyed sports so much; he coached the East Salisbury Little League team. Ronald was affiliated with several community organizations: Redmen Lodge, Tony Tank Tribe #149, Eastside Men's Club, Loyal Order of Moose, the American Legion, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Ronald leaves to cherish fond memories with 3 daughters: Tiffany Swift, Lisa Krebs (Chad Krebs), and Delena Coffin (Rob Coffin); 9 grandchildren: Tristan Merritt, Walter Brooks, Jr, Bryan Brooks, Michael Brooks, Sr, Paul Yates, Crystal Yates, Tyler Krebs, Caleb Krebs, and Shelby Yates; 10 great-grandchildren: Jaiden Brooks, Kaitlyn Brooks, Michael Brooks, Jr, Wilder Krebs, Brayden Brooks, Parker Brooks, Elle Brooks, Rowan Brooks, Katelin Yates, Alexis Yates; one brother, Thomas Dupont (Kathy); his pastor, Pastor Tasker; and a visiting angel, Janet Gill, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Ronald also leaves a special bond with Costal Hospice and the Pine Bluff Village.

In addition to his parents, George and Dorothy, Ronalds was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Dupont; a grandson, Phillip T Yates; and his fiancé, Patricia Doster.
