Sylvia Anne, 76 of Grasonville, Maryland, entered Eternal Rest August 11, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. “Sybby” as she was known, was also known as mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend. Above all these titles she was a WOMAN OF GOD!

Sylvia was gifted to her parents, Arthur and Coretta Jones November 03, 1949. They raised her to love God with her whole heart and to be a humble servant. Some of the greatest tools she adopted from her parents was her love of God, family, church, community, and life. God stopped by for a little while and brought her home to receive her just reward on August 11, 2026.

Sylvia Wheeler with “Her loving, caring heart” touched a multitude of souls. Ms. Sybby poured so much of her love into her family, friends, and community. Aunt Sybby cared for every being who encountered her presence.

Sylvia Anne embraced every opportunity to show herself friendly every chance she had.

She will be cherished and forever held in the hearts of so many, especially “Her Girls”: Angela Wheeler, Tina Scott, Quarzna Carter (Eric Carter, Sr.), Eugenia Miles (James “Tracy” Miles Jr.). Sybby’s love traveled 3 generations long, a collective of 60 loved ones in her lineage. Her legacy will live on throughout her line of love.
