IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Syncere Kovey
Smith
August 17, 2005 – July 15, 2022
Syncere K. Smith, 16 of Lexington Park, Maryland entered eternal rest on Saturday morning, July 16, 2022. He was born on August 17, 2005, in Milford, DE to Deanna Cornish and Gary Smith Jr.
Syncere was looking forward to graduating from Great Mills High School with the class of 2023. He was anticipating a college scholarship for playing basketball, which was his passion. Syncere played football and basketball for the Salvation Army Youth Club in Salisbury MD. He ran cross country for Salisbury and Bennett Middle School. Syncere also ran indoor and outdoor track and played football for Great Mills High School in Lexington Park, Maryland. Syncere played on an AAU team Pax River World Ballers in Lexington Park. Syncere had a very promising future. Syncere was a joy to everyone he came across. He was a jokester and had a contagious personality that made everyone want to be around him all the time. That smile Syncere had would brighten up the darkest room. He would be so happy about any accomplishment that he achieved. His favorite saying, "Chill Its Family Time." Even though he was the second youngest you couldn't tell him he wasn't the oldest. You would never have to guess what was on his mind because he was very vocal about his thoughts and feelings.
Syncere was proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother Bonnie Cornish.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother Deanna Cornish and Father Gary Smith Jr; 4 sisters: Ivory Tuller of Laurel, Delaware, Naira Tuller Lexington Park, MD, Tajzhay Tuller, and Are'Ona Smith; maternal grandfather, Roger Brown of Seaford, DE; one brother, Elijah Cornish of Laurel, DE; one niece, Kylie Tuller; his grandmother Deborah Hall; godmother, Lachesia Crippen; godsister Wilesia Nelson; godbrother, Brandon Horton JR (BJ); 2 aunts: Gemini Cornish and Laseana Naphier (Matthew); 3 uncles: Jerry Cornish (Angela), Brad Cornish, and Devonte Wright; and a host of cousin, Pax World Ballers, other relatives, and friends.
The Cornish Family would like to say thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, donations, and Words of Comfort. Special Thanks to Trinity Funeral & Cremation Services by Dannie A Morris, P.A.
