Tamyra Danae Jeter, 42, of Easton, departed this earthly life and transition to be with the Lord on June 4, 2026, in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 25, 1983, to Valtina and the late Carlette Sullivan.
Tamyra received her education in the Talbot County School System. She also attended Chesapeake College and the Delmarva Beauty School. She had a fondness for doing hair, but her true love was the medical field.
Tammy, as she was called, accepted Christ at the age of 9, and was baptized by Dr. Willie Garrison, who was the former pastor of Union Baptist Church. Tammy was reared in Union Baptist Church, but after a while she was led to join International House of Worship under the auspice of Pastor Dawn Abbot (now Ellison). Following the guidance of the Holy Spirit, she became a member of Greater New Hope Church and Ministries, where she faithfully served under the leadership of Bishop Dane Coleman. Tammy loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a true worshipper.
Tamyra married Demetrius Jeter and from this Union they had one son, Tristan Jeter.
Besides her mother, Tammy leaves to cherish her memory are her husband, Demetrius Jeter; her children: Ariyonna Gibson and Tristan Jeter; her godchildren: Diamond and Destiny Cephas, Davionne Williams, Urijah Smith and Josiah Cook; her sibling: Nakia Harris, Carletta Taylor, Tanika Wilson, Jay Davis, and Jacinda Baines (Lawerence): her godsiblings: Antonio Murray, Tasha Smith, Tavorie Greene, Anwar Turner and Dorinda Bolden; her father in law, George Jeter; sisters-in-law: Keaira Jeter and Natalya English; brothers in law: Dominic Jeter and Djuan Toomer; special family and friends: Angel Taylor, Kendra Blake, Erin Cook, Shayna Price, Talisha Tilghman, Missy Rasin, Tiffany Rasin, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pickens; The Greater New Hope Church Family; her godmothers: Sharon Truxon and Renthia” Bushy” Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
