Timothy DeShields Moody, 47, better known as "TJ" departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Tidal Health in Salisbury. He was born February 3, 1978, to the late Della Warner and Robert Jackson in Easton, MD.

He was born as a very special child to his mother. Shortly after spending time with his mother, TJ was raised by his foster parents, Elder Willie and Betty Jackson. He attended several schools in Talbot and Caroline Counties. After many years living with his foster parents, and the death of his foster mother, TJ relocated to Lower Shore Enterprises in Salisbury until his death.

TJ was full of life and brought much joy to those surrounding him. He loved to eat, and could win any Eating Contest he participated in. He also looked forward to shopping trips with his counselors. He would always crack jokes when shopping with his new family. TJ made it known he was a fan of the best football team on this side of the Mississippi, "The Baltimore Ravens." That was no joke. TJ attended worship and Bible Study at WOW Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Timerius Drummond in Salisbury.

In addition to his parents, TJ was preceded in death by 2 brothers: John Marshall Hinton and Mark Warner.

He leaves to cherish fond memories with his brother, Michael Brown of South Carolina, formerly of Easton; Foster father, Elder Willie Jackson (Mother Ida Kay Jackson) of Federalsburg; many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family at Lower Shore Enterprises in Salisbury.
