Tyneese Lynette Fields, lovingly known as "Ty," was a devoted wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Born on April 4, 1977, at Easton Memorial Hospital in Easton, Maryland, she blessed the world with a bright, bold spirit from the very beginning. On November 22, 2025, at the age of 48, Tyneese peacefully transitioned after a courageous battle with heart disease at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.

Though her earthly journey ended far too soon, her impact remains immeasurable. Tyneese graduated from St. Michaels High School in 1995 — #AlwaysASaint — where she formed lifelong friendships and left a legacy of confidence, humor, and resilience. After graduation, she continued her education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES), embracing the independence and personal growth that college life brings. Those who knew Ty during this season remember her as ambitious and stylish. Throughout her professional life, Ty dedicated many years to the medical field, serving patients and coworkers with compassion and commitment. Her work as a flight attendant allowed her to see more of the world she loved and opened the door to unforgettable experiences.

Ty was never afraid to pivot, evolve, or reinvent herself. She explored multiple career paths with boldness and curiosity, and her creativity eventually led her to pursue writing. As an author of urban-fiction novels, she poured her imagination, lived experiences, and raw honesty into stories that resonated deeply with readers. Tyneese's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She loved traveling, cooking, shopping, and spending meaningful time with the people she cared for. Family gatherings, holiday traditions, and simple everyday moments with loved ones brought her joy. Her smile was radiant, her humor effortless, and her presence brought warmth and light into any room she entered. Most importantly, Tyneese knew and loved the Lord as her Savior. Her relationship with God grew stronger over time, particularly in her later years. It was in these final seasons that her faith became sincere, steady, and deeply transformative.

Even in her months of illness, she faced each day with extraordinary courage, strength, and peace. Tyneese was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Fields Sr., Lilianne Fields, Charles Warrick Sr., and Francis Warrick; her mother, Bishop Melvina Fields; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who now welcome her home. She leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Alvin Fields; her sisters, Khedra Fields and Lesley Fields; her beloved daughter, Kanige' Betrice Brooks; her nieces, Nevaeh Barclay and Nia Barclay; and an extended circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, classmates, coworkers, and lifelong friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Tyneese's legacy is one of resilience, strength, love, creativity, and courage. Her life reminds us to live boldly, love deeply, and remain steadfast through every season. Those blessed to know her will continue to carry her light forward.
