Donna "Chaney" Smith, 55 of Cambridge entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born June 11, 1968, in Annapolis, Maryland to Judy Britton and the late Earl Chaney.

Donna spent most of her years traveling around the local area with her husband and children. They later settled in Cambridge. During her time of travel, she met and married the love of her life, the Apple of her Eye, Carl Smith. This was a love made eternal. Donna loved pets. Above all she was a giving person and donated much of her time working for food pantries, and the AAC Food Bank. She spent a lot of time establishing a legacy for her children. She was a mother more than words can say. Her favorite hobby is spending time with her family.

Donna leaves to cherish fond memories of 14 years with her husband, Carl Smith of Cambridge; her mother, Judy Britton of Arnold, Maryland,  her grandmother, Lillie Elsey of Easton; 6 children: Savanna Chaney of Brooklyn Park, Courtney Miller, Lexi Smith, Lexus Henson, and Tommy Smith all of Glen Burnie; Mercedes Miller (Henny) of Crofton; 2 sisters: Margie (Jonathan) and Monica (Rick) both of Easton; 5 brothers: Mike, Chris, Stanley,  Robbie, and Scott all of Easton; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
