John Wesley Tripline Sr., 74 of Cambridge passed at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center of Cambridge, November 4, 2023. John, better known as Trip, was born August 14, 1949, in Prince Georges County, Maryland to the parents of Thomas A Tripline and Hattie Cooper. He was raised by Mary Farmer.
John attended Northwestern High School in Hyattsville MD where he graduated. Upon graduation, John went into the Marines where he served a term. Thereafter he worked for Talbot County School system and the YMCA.
John enjoyed singing, dancing, eating crab's, playing chess, listening to a genre of music, and spending time with family and friends. Many of his friends became family over the years.
John was preceded in death by his parents Thomas A Tripline, Hattie Cooper and Mary Farmer; brothers: Bob Cooper, Teddy Cooper and Lindy Cooper; sisters: Mickey Tripline, Diane Tripline; and son, Jermaine Tripline.
John leaves to cherish in his memory; 5 sons: John Wesley Tripline Jr (Delvonne), Tyrone Tripline (Shauntae), Demetric Tripline, Cleon Murray (Kim) and Fleming Anderson; daughter, Tosha Ennels (Antone); grandchildren: Kaila Tripline (Tyrone Wilson), Amaya Tripline, Brieya Tripline, John Tripline 3rd, Alicia Dupree (Destiny Dupree), Jermaine Tripline, Katelyn Tripline, Kyshira Tripline, Ethan Tripline, Bryson Tripline, Shane Tripline, Tyrone Tripline, Ky Brummell, Galen Ennels, Briana Ennels, Jai’Briana Hooper and Jesse Barrere; great grandchildren: River Wilson, Brooklyn Brown, Korey and Kameron Ennels, and Zymir Opher; brothers: Richard Cooper and Thomas Tripline; sisters: Burnice Butler, Gloria, Wilamina Tripline, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He is also survived by special friends: Marcia West, Lorrina Murray, Antoinette Santini, Tommy Lee, Danielle Dishon, Irene Roberts, and Miss Rose.
